Ch LES MESCLANCES St Honorat White Vermentino Provence AOP, 750mL
Grape variety: 100% Rolle (vermentino) Organic Certified.
Terroir: Ancient alluviums made of silt with quartz fragments and phyllades.
Winemaking: Direct pressing in pneumatic press, then careful settling. Fermentation at strictly temperature controlled. The wine is aged eight months in cask with regular stirring.
Tasting Notes: Bright straw yellow in colour. The nose opens with mineral and buttery notes. Slight notes of white flowers as the palate becomes quite round with notes of brioche.
Service: A wine to drink at about 10°-12°.
Pairings: Fish, shellfish, strong cheese.
Cellaring: 4 - 5 years in bottle.

Château les Mesclances is one of the oldest family-owned wineries from Provence available in Australia, run by the Villeneuve-Bargemon family since 1531.
The winery is made of about 30 hectares of vines, all Organic Certified. They have received many accolades for the quality of their wines and praised for their ethos in looking after the land using minimal intervention. The winery is located just moments away from the Mediterranean sea influencing the fresh and vivid Provençal wines.
